When does the plumber come in during a bathroom reno?
Twice. Rough-in happens early — drains, waste and supply lines set out before the waterproofer and tiler arrive. Fit-off happens near the end, when the toilet, vanity, shower and tapware go in. Getting the rough-in right is what keeps the rest of the build on schedule.
How much does bathroom plumbing cost?
Rough-in to fit-off typically runs $3,000–$8,000 depending on the size of the room, how many fixtures, and whether anything is being moved. We quote the whole scope up front so it slots cleanly into your renovation budget.
Can I move the toilet, shower or vanity?
Usually yes — we relocate drains, waste and supply lines to suit the new layout, keeping everything compliant. Moving a toilet is more involved than moving a vanity, so we’ll tell you what each change adds before you commit.

Yes — your bathroom plumbing finishes with the compliance certificate your build needs, supplied and explained at handover.
