Burst? Leaking? Flooding?

24/7 emergency plumbing

Burst pipes, major leaks, sewage overflow, no water. A real plumber answers and gives you a 60-minute ETA — any hour. The jobs that can’t wait until Monday.

What we fix

Hot water and gas are what we do best.

The two jobs most likely to leave you without a working home — and the two we’re fastest on. Plus everything else a licensed plumber covers.

How it goes

Call → 60-minute ETA → fixed quote → fixed-price fix → lifetime-backed.

No “sometime today”, no number you only find out about on the invoice. Hot-water failure and gas leaks are the urgent same-day triggers — this is exactly what happens when you call.

Most of them answered in one go — watch below. Still unsure? Call (02) 4900 0000 and a real plumber will talk it through.

Surface the real questions · educate before you sell
Are you really available 24/7?

Yes. A real plumber answers the phone day or night — not a call centre that books you for next week. After-hours emergencies across the Newcastle & Lake Macquarie metro get a 60-minute ETA, and we tell you the after-hours rate before we leave the depot.

What does the call-out cost?

Nothing. We don’t charge a fee just to come and look. You get a fixed-price quote on-site before any work starts, and you decide from there.

How do I know I’m not being overcharged?

It’s the fear every plumber should take seriously — the horror stories are real. So we take the guesswork out: we diagnose on-site, quote the whole job in writing before we touch anything, and charge by the job, not by the hour. The quote is the price — it can’t creep up while a meter runs. You see it, you approve it, and only then do we start.

Is it a fixed price or charged by the hour?

Fixed price. We diagnose on-site, quote the whole job in writing, and that’s the price — it doesn’t move once you approve it. Any after-hours multiplier is disclosed before we start, never sprung on the invoice.

Is the quote free, or do I pay for it?

The quote is free. We don’t charge a call-out fee just to come and look, and we don’t charge to work out the price — we diagnose on-site and put a fixed-price quote in writing at no cost. You only pay if you approve the job and we carry out the work.

How can I pay for the work?

Whatever’s easiest — card, tap-and-go or bank transfer once the job’s done. For larger jobs like a hot water replacement or a bathroom, we can talk through payment options up front. We confirm how and when payment is due as part of the quote, so there are no awkward surprises at the end.

What should I check before hiring any plumber — not just us?

Three things. Ask for the licence number — plumbing is a strictly licensed trade in NSW, and a plumber who hesitates to give it is the red flag. Insist on a written fixed quote, not a vague “it’ll be around” estimate. And if there’s any gas work, check they hold a separate Gas Work Authorisation, because a plumbing licence alone doesn’t cover gas. We put all three in front of you before you ask.

Are you licensed?

Yes — we hold a current NSW plumbing licence (000000C). Plumbing is a strictly licensed trade in NSW, so always check the licence. For any gas work we also hold a separate Gas Work Authorisation (see below).

Do you do gas work?

Yes. Gas fitting requires a separate authorisation to a plumbing licence — we hold both. Every legal gas job finishes with a compliance certificate, which we supply and explain at handover.

What does the lifetime workmanship guarantee actually cover?

Our workmanship — the labour and the install — is guaranteed in writing, for life. That’s separate from the manufacturer’s warranty on a unit or part, which we register for you at handover so you’re covered on both fronts. If something we did fails, we come back and put it right. We’ll always tell you which warranty covers what, so there are no grey areas later.

My hot water just died. Repair or replace?

It depends on the age and fault. We carry common parts for a same-day repair, and if it’s past saving we can replace it the same day — gas, electric, heat-pump or solar, continuous-flow or storage. We’ll tell you honestly which makes sense and quote both where it’s close.

How often should I service my hot water system?

About once a year is the rule of thumb. The sacrificial anode typically needs replacing every five years or so, and the temperature-relief (TPR) valve should be checked roughly every six months — a quick job that can add years to the tank. Staying ahead of it is far cheaper than a Sunday-night failure, and we can put you on a reminder so it doesn’t slip.

Do you service my suburb?

If you’re anywhere across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, almost certainly yes — that’s our 60-minute response zone. We also cover the wider Hunter, out to Maitland and Cessnock, with an honest arrival time for the outer areas. Not sure? Call and we’ll tell you straight away whether you’re in the zone.

Do you work for landlords, agents and rental properties?

Yes — we handle repairs and maintenance on rental properties for owners and managing agents, with a proper tax invoice and clear records for your accounts. We can liaise directly with the tenant to arrange access, keep you informed, and quote before we proceed so there are no unauthorised charges on your statement.

Will you make a mess in my house?

No more than the job demands, and we leave it as we found it. We use drop sheets, take our boots into account, and clean up the work area before we go — including carting away the old unit or parts. Respecting your home is part of the job, not an extra.
